This past week my summer squash and zucchini plants were wilting pretty badly. Now I know these plants often wilt during the heat of the day in direct sunlight, however these were beyond the normal daytime wilting. In fact one plant ended up losing all the leaves and stems but three just sprouting [...] Comparing plant growth difference with and without the addition of worm tea. [...] The reason I was amazed is the fact I added only 5% worm castings to some compost I made out of yard waste as well as a little peat moss. [...] While I was planting seeds for my garden, I decided to try a comparison with worm castings. Now some may say I have too much time on my hands, however nothing could be further from the truth |
